Joy Ann (McCullough) Smith

A wonderful supporter of the Union United Methodist Church Joy Ann Smith has passed.
Joy Ann was civic minded and helped the community.  She also had volunteered with senior meals at the church and was involved in the Methodist Church preservation and The Friends of The Historic Union Community Hall. She was also involved in the ranger station preservation and an active member of the Union County Museum. She was a firm believer in “if you don’t like the way something is, you should make an effort to change it.”
Memorial contributions may be made to the City of Union Ranger Station Fund, P.O. Box 529, Union 97883; Friends of Historic Union Hall (Methodist Church Preservation), P.O. Box 275, Union; 97883; Union County Museum; or a charity of your choice.
Feel free to tell us your thoughts about our friend Joy Ann Smith

  1. Joy Ann and I had a great time during the Winter Wonderland event last December at the Union United Methodist Church (2019). Together we sat a our Union Main Street booth trying to talk "customers" into voting for their favorite sweater. The winning sweater would be presented to the Union City Mayor. Well, Joy Ann and I found the ugliest Christmas sweater and we giggled while we worked at pushing people to vote for the ugliest sweater.
